Can you cast the same spell multiple times a turn? Not by the same caster, unless there is an exception for that character (Venerable Lord Kroak). Ex. You have two Skaven Warlock Engineers and have taken Warp Lightning for both of them due to their special rule. Both wizards can cast Warp Lightning once each in a single magic phase. So, if I have two Necromancers and a Vampire lord, could they all cast Invocation of Nehek since that is Lore of Vampires signature spell, and they are all separate casters?

Very excited to get a game in tomorrow. Just to recap, we are playing 2k points with 25% heroes and lords?

No one has brought VC so far, so you are definitely adding to the variety, which is great. I'm showing up with a 2.5k and 2k list. Both my lists are at 25% lords, heroes.
But I think we slapped the table on 50% being ok, as long as no one gets crazy with it? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

So........ invocation for days, yes. But bear in mind my base line troop is WS2 with initiative 2.

In previous editions fear causing enemies couldn’t be charged if you failed the LD check. And losing in combat to a fear causing unit meant auto breaking. Undead hordes could be scary. Pun intended.

I have never played Fantasy battles, only AOS, so idk what the nuances of each army and where they sit strength wise. I have heard high elves are cheesy, but that's it. I picked VC cause I love the lore, and had 7,000 points of Legions of Nagash sitting around to swap to square bases..... lol

I always like to see the converted undead armies people come up with. By their nature you could use almost any race and convert them. The Red Duke of Bretonnia versions always tempted me to get a VC army.

I want to make an empire army as the Pirates of Sartossa. With a converted Vlozd to represent Count Noctolus. Just use the Karl Franz rules, lol.

I like playing VC. The biggest hurdle for most people is unless you use ghouls it takes a lot of models to fill up your core requirements. With Skeletons at 5pts, zombies at 3pts, and dire wolves at 8pts it takes a lot. Ghouls are 10pts but can't have a musician so their mobility can suffer.
The only beef I have with the book is it would have been nice for Black Knights to be core and give the army some more flexibility. Having 3 units of cav and all of them being special or rare really sucks.

Luckily I have at least 120 skeletons in addition to zombies and ghouls....... so it's gonna be a big game tomorrow lol. Also, I know I brought this up before, but if anyone has any extra movement trays I would be indebted to you if you could bring them. I ordered some but they won't be in by tomorrow.
