Hey All,
As a returning player im curious about the different builds of OK lords & heroes. What are the 'common' (and less common) builds?

Most common would be a slaughtermaster with Fencers blades, glittering scales, and (I prefer, at least) crown of command.
Bruiser BSB with the Dragonhide banner and Deathcheater big name.
Butcher with the Hellheart.
All 3 in the same Death Star unit and just blow everything up. Other option is give the bruiser the Rune Maw banner and give mournfang cavalry the dragonhide banner.
Another option for your slaughter master is to use Grut’s Sickle and maybe a ward save so you don’t need to rely on troll guts. If you opt against a ToP then you should definitely have dragonbane gem if you think that your opponent will have some flaming attacks to counter your troll guts. These are my most common combo’s. Plenty of other out there and definitely some player preference factors in but I think these are quite common.

Some other builds:
Slaughtermaster with Fencer's Blades, Glittering Scales, Dragonbane Gem and Forbidden Rod
Bruiser BSB with Great Weapon, Heavy Armour, Dragonhelm, Crown of Command (placed in 2nd row)
Tyrant with Heavy Armour, Fencer's Blades, Greedy Fist and Giantbreaker (very offensive, buffed with Lore of Beasts even more killy)

Edit: Scratch that, see italics below... Seeing the suggested load out in knoffles ' tactica thread, that combo has in most cases better offensive capabilities than the load out I suggested above. POST 5 - Generic Lords and Heroes
Tyrant: (...) Possible equipment: Giant Breaker, Sword of Bloodshed, Enchanted Shield, Dragonbane Gem, heavy armor. This makes a Tyrant with 8 attacks, at S6, he has a decent 3+ save, which you can always add Regen to with a Butcher, plus the Dragonbane Gem for when he's fighting the ever popular flaming attacks. He's a vicious brute who will definitely kill a few guys.(...) A little bit of mathhammer shows the load outs are equal vs targets with T6 (edit: now shown in diagram for 4+ AS). Below T6 the Sword of Bloodshed is better, above T6 the Fencer's Blades/Greedy Fist-Combo is better. Factoring in armour saves, the numbers shift slightly in favour of the Fencer's Blades/Greedy Fist-Combo due to higher AS modifier. When armour is factored in, the Fencer's Blades/Greedy Fist-Combo is always better at AS 1+. At AS 2+ and 3+ the Fencer's Blades/Greedy Fist-Combo is always better at T5 and more. Also vs targets with WS 6-9 the Fencer's Blades/Greedy Fist-Combo is better. Where the Sword of Bloodshed shines is versus targets with WS below 6, T below 5 and 4+ AS or worse i.e. rank and file troopers. In duels or versus high T monsters the Fencer's Blades/Greedy Fist-Combo is superior - on average. To all who wonder, yes I had a boring day at work today...
