Lol, close! I tallied them up yesterday (based off a 25% core minimum) and it came to 14, 800 points! The more core I get the higher it'll go.

I finally got these in yesterday from Norba Miniatures. I think they look great! There are a few bubbles that will need a little Green Stuff work, but overall, they are in pretty good shape and don't need too much filing. They are very stable and don't have many flimsy parts that could break off easily. The only thing that really concerned me was the shipping packaging. They came in a bubble wrap envelope. It has been my experience that packages that have to ship overseas, generally get really beat up. As soon as I saw the package, I thought, "Oh no! I'm going to have tons of broken bits!" I made sure to take plenty of before/after pics and a video of me opening the package and looking at the contents. Luckily, nothing was broken. It does however, make me rather apprehensive about ordering more. Also, it took about 1 1/2 - 2 months to get to me. I know they were coming from Europe, but that's a long time even then. I buy stuff from European shippers all the time, and they don't take nearly that long. This is my take on it though.

they look the part! how many variants are there? Not totally sure. I'll have to check tonight when the kids go down. I'll also post some comparison pics of these with the GW Teutogen Guard. *Okay, cool. I checked over lunch and there appears to be 5 different sculpts.*

Is it just me? But I am getting more and more drawn to the empire because the sculpts are fantastic! Looked at forge world conversion sets and not sure how long time I can keep my hands of them. Might be my 2019(2018 is high elves time) army or if I find a great eBay loot.

Might be my 2019(2018 is high elves time) army or if I find a great eBay loot. Hey, I think Empire is an awesome army to collect and play! I may be a bit biased since they were my first army, but there is SO MUCH customization that you can do with them! You can use any colors you want and mix and match completely different color schemes between units since the Empire is a mixture of various provinces coming together to face a common enemy! That's why I can get away with having the bulk of my army from Middenheim, smaller units of Halberdiers and Handgunners from neighboring Hochland, Militia from Who-knows-where, wandering Flagellants, Warrior Priests from Altdorf, Cannons from Nuln, Spearmen from Marienburg, etc. It's all good! Also, they are a "Jack of all Trades" army. There's always an answer for any situation or army build that you might face. Having trouble with War Machines? We've got a cannon for that. Need to hunt something down quickly and effeciently? Try out the Captain on Pegasus! Whatever you face, there should be an answer for it. I'm not talking customizing your army to counter whatever-you're-facing, but rather, bringing enough in your build that you can face any threat that you might encounter. This is why so many people love taking Steam Tanks. Not only are they tough, heavily armored brutes in close combat, but they also have cannons! You can't simply avoid it! Multiple threat! And apart from the heraldry colors, variation in army builds, and the extensive list of story books that follow them, they also have beautiful models and sculpts (as you mentioned) that look amazing on the table top! I will always recommend them to any potential collector/player!
