Hoodhorn the Rabbit Lord Pure Beastmen army but with Marks allowed. I went exclusively with Tzeentch for a bit of theme and something different. This is the 'new and improved' Hoodhorn with a 1+ Armor save and 4+ Ward save. No Beast banner so Gnarled hide available for Hoodhorn. It's going to be a 'friendly' game list so I figured a 3+ Ward save due to Tzeentch might be looked at unfavourably and make people less keen to accept the Marks. Unfair I know as WOC do it better but what's a Beastlord to do As no Standard of Discipline Hoodhorn will maybe go with the Bestigor to give them some high strength hitting power. Any thoughts? ++ End Times (Legions of Chaos - 8thBRB Glottkin) [1,999pts] +++ Uncategorised +- Army Size: Army (0-2999 points) + Lords +Beastlord [251pts]: Heavy Armour, Mark of Tzeentch . Shocked and appalled that you aren't using the Phoenix Gor'd in a Tzeentch list!
Only joking, looks good tbf. 4 chariots, 2 pigs, 3 chaff, 2 combat blocks, lvl 4 beasts- it's all there. Is the wargor getting a mark of tzeentch? If so a standard shield will give him a 5++ parry in combat which I've found more useful than charmed shield etc.

Otherwise given the theme I'd definitely give them a go. Bsb currently not Tzeentch. This particular group has a houserule (not my main group) that single models cannot be singled out unless they are in a challenge so that's why the low defence for the BsB. Will ignore all challenges thrown the Bsb way. Instead they are directed at the unit. So basically the Lord will accept any challenges but the bsb will identify as a skaven.... Last time I played with this group and house rules I had killing blow units (tomb herald/guard and Scorpion) in contact with characters I couldn't attack so if my BSB gets singled out I'll know I'm being shafted Appreciate the feedback.

I derped it... that wasn't the pure Tzeentch list...apologies, that had some Ungor with Slaanesh marks and was meant for a different group/game. Charmed shield over Normal/Tzeenth mark was to get up to 1999 points (+3). I don't expect him to be attacked for this reason or use the Charmed shield but I did think that it might protect (minimally) from a hypothetical death magic snipe. The heavy armor upgrade is in part because the model is wearing it. This below is the 100% pure Tzeentch list which will be played in a group that allows no singling out of unit characters not in a Challenge. I could hypothetically swap in a Tzeentch mark for the bsb and drop one on a chariot? ++ End Times (Legions of Chaos - 8thBRB Glottkin) [1,999pts] +++ Uncategorised +- Army Size: Army (0-2999 points) + Lords +Beastlord [251pts]: Heavy Armour, Mark of Tzeentch . I'd add some more bestigors (up to 35-40 or so). A bit more fun&crazyness: add Rust totem (we don't have armor and we're relying on ward save anyway). Add Morghur&Co (spawns and some ungors for it) - it's a Chaosy Mutational Tzeentchy stuff after all Is it competitive? Maybe or maybe not, but it's fun&themed. Have fun.

To be honest I quite like that house rule - stops wizards being squished by goblins with ease lol. Makes assassins useless but I see where they are coming from for friendly games. Ahhhh Tomb Guard. I'd take an army purely of tomb guard if I could!

If you were to add more Bestigor to my list, what would you drop to make room for them at 2000 points? Funnily enough, with these house rules of no non challenge character attacks I'm actually going to do up a low armor base Totem of Rust list which I'm looking forwards to running 😀
