I love the amount of scenery you use in your games. It always makes a battlefield seem more real. The Dwarf themed hill is also great. I'm sure, a few reports back, I also saw a classic Dwarf forge building, perhaps from the grudge of throng pack. I also keep expecting your brother to pop up on this thread and give his side of the story! Haha cheers, I will not allow such things! We really just use the amount of scenery suggested in the rulebook but I always try and place it in interesting positions rather than just smattering it around the table edges then marching towards each other in a big open space To finish the most drawn out battle report ever... The final turn was just the butchering of the Swordmasters by the rear charging Ghouls. The Elven Battle Standard in the Phoenix Guard was dispatched via a killing blow from the Grave Guard who just about survived the final round of combat All in all it was a fun battle and a convincing win for the Undead. No doubt aided by some terrible leadership rolls for the High Elves. I very much enjoyed using Heinrich Kemmler. With Krell he would be even more fun. Having Loremaster for the Lore of Vampires is really really useful as is the ability to fly or be ethereal from the Cloak

Yeah, I rarely see Elves fail Terror checks. That was whack.

This photo is awesome! It really gives the feel of an undead horde just shambling forward.

I don't use photobucket. Does it cost money to allow the 3rd party hosting? I just learned about this issue earlier today and didn't really understand what was going on or why. But seeing your thread here I certainly see why it is an issue...

Please find your motivation to re-upload those lovely shots please!
Lesson learned from me as well: sometime it hurts to be too old-schooled...

Please find your motivation to re-upload those lovely shots please! Lesson learned from me as well: sometime it hurts to be too old-schooled... It's not the re-uploading which is the problem, it is fixing all the links in all the posts to the correct images. It will take some serious time to fix, time I am not sure I am willing to commit. It is tempting to start a new log up so I don't have to look at the stupid photobucket update your account thing

there is something to be said about consistency between the armies so maybe stick with the goblin green of yore?
also, never noticed these nose rings before on the axemen. that must really be annoying when they try to enjoy a meal. no wonder they are angry.

Probably they mostly eat sausages, and possibly carrots, that they can slide through the ring. They look really good as well, I think you should go for new basing adventures! Rocky and barren sounds right. Tufts of grass that immediately die all around them, because they are evil.

I can't believe I never noticed the nose rings either! Not a fan actually... still badly want some metal chaos dwarf soldiers though. I just need all the metal Axemen variations, the metal foot sorcerer and the metal warlord resting his axe and I'll consider my OOP bighat chaos dwarf collection complete.... one-day.... one-day. So close, yet so far.... Love seeing Big hats on here! Especially ones which look as nice as the way Horus does them.

Imo steel legion drab edged bases look great on green mats and overall look nicer. I can't talk though, most of my chaos dwarfs are edged in Goblin Green
