Hi brains trust
I have the opportunity to play Golgfag and 5 maneaters in a narrative battle dwarfs vs OnG, and I wonder at each points limit what his optimal load-out is.
This is tempered by the existing magic items in the army, being the Fencers Blades, Talisman of Preservation and Enchanted Shield and no option for magical support from Lore of the Maw.
I intend to use his Vanguard to propel the maneaters into Ungrim Ironfist's Slayer unit, and hope to kill the Slayer King and survive the round, if not the battle.
I prioritise the ironcurse icon as they are likely to face some heavy firepower, and due to the reroll of successful wardsaves from Ungrim, I favour the Trickster's Helm reroll of successful wounds over the armour of destiny's 4++
Once I get to the 80 point range, I feel I already have the 'optimal' build... Possibly swapping the ironcurse icon for the Other Tricksters Shard and hoping not to be obliterated on the way in by organ guns..
