The tzeentch daemon user is said to be Daemon is immune to poison attacks, but I can't find it even if I search the army book and the rule book.

Daemonic, by itself, does not give immunity to poison. Certain characters and units may have a special ability that gives something immunity to poison, and there are some special items or abilities that do that as well, but right off hand I can’t think of anything in the Demon book. Hell, not even Nurgle demons get anything that makes them immune to poison.

Daemons being immune to poison attacks is not a thing that I'm aware of. Did you ask your opponent to show you the rule in his army book?
