Good morning everyone .
Yesterday we had a game of Raze and Ruin which was a lot of fun; a few rules however came up where we were not too sure on how to proceed. We kept thje game flowing opting for the option that made most sense fun-wise but I'd like some clarifying on a handful of matters.
1) Throwing weapons
I think I know the answer to this... but how many shooting attack does a throwing weapon grant? Is it 1 or is it dependent on the thrower's A value? A dark Elf assassin with a throwing star/knife can only hit once during the shooting phase?
2) Lone heroes and charges
Do lone heroes or lone models (infantry sized) have full 360° line of sight? If so can they also charge a full 360°?
Addendum: lone models no longer get -1 to be hit do they?
3) Shooting AT buildings.
Are buildings hit automatically when shooting at them (the building itself is the target)? Or do you have to roll to hit? this seems pretty straightforward but there's a tidbit towards the end of Raze and Ruin (pg 398-399) that makes it confusing.
4)Squatter's rights Lone heroes and buildings
Is a building considered occupied if a single hero moves into it? Or does it need to be occupied by an actual unit to considered "taken"?
Addendum: if a building is occupied by a single character and it is assaulted, How many models get to attack? Is still 10? (thus making the fact that my thane survived a true miracle).
5) Rune of preservation
The rune states that "armour engraved with [this rune] grants the wearer a 2+ ward save against the effects of the killing blow and heroic killing blow"
"Against the effects"... what does it mean? If I do roll a 2+, does it mean the model is not automatically slain and it just takes a regular wound? Does it mean that it ignores the fact that it's a killing blow strike and rolls for armour regularly; or does it mean you averted the wound itself and nothing happens?
Thank you everyone; and keep on fighting the good fight
