So just trying to have a flexi approach to the rules really...
1) if a unit charges, and an odd number is rolled on the dice, we just round up to the nearest even number 2) if my army list for a 2,000pt game comes in at 2,041 points, I'm chilled 3( if a unit doesn't quite fit where I need it to go, we can just wiggle the scenery a bit until it does 4) my mate can use his 7th edition book for a few units as long as I can borrow from 6th and AOS 5) if a rule doesn't seem 'fair', we just skip it 6) my dwarf Anvil of doom can fly 7) we will sometimes play Irish ETC 8) gut feel is the best way to interpret the rules 9) having 3 unpainted figures in an otherwise fully painted & based unit is cool 10) when polishing off a KFC, its important to ensure the grease permeates every crevice of the pro-painted models that get moved
[:-> Just kidding lol, that lot would be enough to make me potty!

I am going to jump to the rather obvious conclusion that my humble self is intended by "FvonSigmarsson." But that is too much of an honour - I am not divine, just a mere martyr and saint. And as it happens, I am not winded up by the list - as long as your opponent and you agree beforehand (I - and apparently you yourself - would not, but that is another matter). With the one obvious and objective exception, of course: "gut feel is the best way to interpret the rules."

To a certain extent, I do allow No.3 in my games hehe.
And I can do one better than No.4, I always allow my opponent to use 6th ed units! In their Bret army, ofc.

You are thinking PAI (post as intended) but we only care about PAW (post as written) here. You may have been intended but weren't written. It is what it is.

2) if my army list for a 2,000pt game comes in at 2,041 points, I'm chilled I will personally always stick to the limit or lower but I'm honestly more than ok with my opponent going above and beyond. I'm actually a very big proponent of unbalanced point scores with alternative win conditions This is just common sense; and as long as this is not just an excuse to be a particularly obnoxious persona and showcase behaviors that aren't particularly sportsmanship-like; I have no problem with this. This is something on which I changed opinion over the years. I used to be extremely against any deviation from the current army book; didn't like units from White Dwarfs, special characters ecc... Nowadays I'm the total opposite, encouraging you to even field units you came up with yourself. No problem with it as long as it's not just an excuse to be the type of players others usually want to avoid. I will personally never field models that are not painted and are not showcasing the actual equipment they're supposed to have (shields, command group etc). I find deploying unpainted models a lack of respect towards my opponent; but I have no issue with them not having painted models. Please when moving models, whether yours or your opponent's, do so from the base. And wash your hands with soap, FFS.

Hahaha you're all legends! For a while there I didn't think anyone was going to bite FYI, all tongue-in-cheek... I never go over the points limit, even by 1pt unless its mutually agreed!

This one will really do your nut (true story):
Me: "OK, as I finished my deployment first, I get +1 to the roll to see who goes first" My bro: "no, I don't agree with that"
True story...
