Managed to finish enough Ogres in September to reach 52 in total. As in "goal originally set for 12 months achieved in 9".

Knoffles, you live in the UK and you're drinking MORETTI??!! why? Also absolutely lovely picture and if that isn't a family goal I don't know what is. One of my good friends and neighbours is from Rome and introduced me to it. 😁

I am fascinated by what people commit to and then in many cases deliver. Especially when it is at industrial scale (see above, sedge). As for myself, I would not commit on principle, painting is meant to be a de-stresser and setting targets would make it feel like another job - I don't need any additional pressure. I'll still do what I can, but in a more chilled way. I use it more as a I’m planning on painting xxxx. Sometimes I smash it out the park, other months I fail miserably. I still like to pledge but don’t beat myself up if I don’t achieve a finished product.

Man the first gangster looks REALLY good. how did you do the skin and the jeans? Thank you! For the gangsters, I've been using an undercoat of Vallejo Ghost Grey primer, then drybrushed with white. Over that I've been using the new Vallejo Xpress Paints, which are awesome. The skin tones are done using Dwarf Skin (for two of them) and GW Wyldwood contrast for the third, while the jeans are done using Storm Blue. I've been very happy with how they've worked out.

I'm exactly like this...just with a lower monthly pledge 😀. masterofnone even a pledge of 1 mini a month is acceptable amongst the fine folk of eefl....and sometimes like this past month I don't even manage that. Like you, I see painting as somewhat of a relaxing hobby and can say from experience I've never gotten any grief from an eefl member for not delivering on a monthly pledge. It's a great community here 👍 😊
