Wow dude, that is awesome. Perfect use of magnets too.

I think with all the new versatile plastic kits, the problem of WYSIWYG, especially concerning characters, should be reduced to minimum by the use of magnets. Here are my highly swappable Prince and BSB:
Great magnet and paint job.

Cheers, fellas. I still have no idea why whoever in charge of the GW artistic concepts of the 7th and 8th edition had allowed such ridiculously oversized headgears to come into production. The one on horse is definitely asking his head to get chopped off

Aah, but they will cut the helmet in two, thinking they have cut his head. It's a trick!

More likely the impact will break his neck... Agreed, he is an elf after all.

I play Warriors of Chaos and Beastmen and here is my take:
"Disciplined" units are all armed with the same weapon (whatever they're carrying, yes, that means I have 78 Chaos Warriors, but they're all armed exactly the way they're supposed to be)
"Undisciplined" units are armed with anything and everything I can give them. My Gor herds have a mix of 2-hand weapons and hand weapons/shields, my ungors have hand weapons/shield and spear/shield. My marauders have great weapons/flails/hand weapons/shields and 2-hand weapons. I go out of my way to make sure that the front rank (or 2) have what I've given the unit, and then all the back ranks have a mix. I like this aesthetic as I feel it more accurately reflects the "unruly horde" look I'm going for.
As long as my opponent tells me what his units are armed with, or is straightforward with me every time I ask him then I'll let him get away with WYSIWYG shenanigans.
