Scenario: The Mists of Xlanhuapec from the End Times expansion "Thanquol" Army sizes: 2500 points each Armies: Lizardmen vs. Skaven
This game took place last year in November. I played the Lizardmen as an all Skink army (btw, the scenario rules don't allow Slanns). I had Tehenhauin, Tetto'Eko, Oxyotl and the Red Host formation.
My opponent's Clan Pestilens army contained a special character for this scenario called Lord Blistrox. He is a Plague Priest with +1 wizard level, attacks and wounds, and he is also allowed to take magic items up to a total of 100 points. The Skaven army also had a Verminlord Corrupter.

The scenario has a special rule: you can search buildings for sleeping Slann (for Lizardmen: to rescue them; for Skaven: to kill them). A unit inside a building rolls 1d6; a Slann is found on a roll of 6. Finding a Slann means d6x100 victory points.
Here some things that happened: - The Lizardmen found a sleeping Slann very early in the game (200 VP). - In the centre of the battlefield, the Lizardmen soon lost many troops because of shooting and magic. - But Skink magic managed to kill lots of models in Clanrat regiment, who failed their Panic test and fled off the board.
- The Lizardmen army contained three Salamanders, whose shooting was very inefficient.

The battlefield... you can see that the Skinks in the middle lost many models.

- Bad luck for the Lizardman in the second turn: An Ancient Stegadon with a Skink Priest and an Engine of the Gods became the target for the Cracks Call spell. Both the Stegadon and the Skink Priest failed their Initiative tests and were eliminated.
- However, shortly after that I killed the Verminlord with magic and shooting.
- The Skaven found a sleeping Slann and got 500 victory points. In the next turn, they found a second sleeping Slann, 400 victory points this time.
- During the second half of the game, my Salamanders got better with their shooting attacks. However, the Skaven army got more aggressive, and the Lizardmen soon slipped in a defensive position.

- Finally, the Skaven attacked both buildings (a pyramind and a ruined smaller building) held by the Lizardmen. Both buildings were defended successfully until the end of the game, but it was close. At the end of the sixth turn, one building was held by Tehenhauin only, the other one by a lone Kroxigor.
- Tetto'Eko and the Skink BSB were also killed. But Oxyotl managed to kill Blistrox, that upgraded Plague Priest-General, who rode a Plague Furnace (that was possible because of Oxyotl's sniper rule).
Victory points (VP from finding sleeping Slann included) Skaven 2865,5 Lizardmen 1464,5 A Skaven victory!
So, the Skaven would have won even if no Slann had been found by either side...
The Skaven crushed the Lizardmen in the centre
But the Plague Monks were also almost wiped out... here, only three models and the Plague Furnace are left.
That's it!
