Finished off this little "extra" tidbit. This is really one of those "Do I really?" models. Well, it's done.

Thought I'd post a quick pic of this project I'm starting. My Great Orc Shaman on Wyvern. I quite like this Wyvern. I've been debating whether or not to have him holding some reins and putting some sort of bit in the beast's mouth. Might give him a touch more credibility for actually riding it rather than just "surfing" and using the "Gork Force" (or was it Mork?). What do y'all think?

Where's the Wyvern from? It's a cool model but not one I think I've seen before.
I think some reins would be sensible. You can get away with monster-surfing if you're a nimble elf (especially woodies) but a big clumsy orc isn't going to last two minutes, especially on Wyverns who seem somewhat ungainly. The easiest way of doing it would be a cylindrical bar through the back of the mouth, and then two bits of fine jewelry chain running along to that empty hand (which could maybe have another cylindrical bar type thing - sorry, not doing very well at describing it, but something like what the ogre beastriders are holding in the Stonehorn/Thundertusk kit). That could actually fit quite well in the right hand.

Yeah, I was thinking something along those exact same lines you described, Sedge. I have a new Stonehorn/Thundertusk kit that I got for Christmas, so I might see if I can use those some way. I could just let that Ogre rider go guns ablazin'. ☺️

That Wyvern looks insane. The posing if it with the wings makes me think of that Lord of the Rings Nazgul model.

How tall is it head top to bottom?! Looks more of a monster with some paint on!

It's about 9 1/2" to the tip of the uplifted wing.
