And the last of my big gribblies for the Beasts, a Mierce miniature Cygor. I kept with the same scheme as the Gor for this one rather than the minotaur colours I went with for the Ghorgons. I love the detail on the mierce minis, in this case the fact he is holding both a pig and a sheep. I'm now pretty close to finishing the beastmen I currently own. I just have 10 Gor, a Shaman, Moghur and half a dozen minotaurs to finish. Though in fairness I will be picking up some more raiders in the near future.

Nice job. Is there such a thing as being done with this hobby, or even an army? ...Asking for a friend...

Nice job. Is there such a thing as being done with this hobby, or even an army? ...Asking for a friend... Thanks all. And azknight, of course not, it’s why I carefully phrased it to ‘the models I own’ 😉😂

After popping them in the monthly paint thread, realised I completely forgot to add them here! Reinforcements for the main Gor block. Again with the yellow and blue scheme. For those who have read earlier blog entries you will know that Khazbar, being a particularly cunning Shaman, worked out that his early losses to the Empire were down to the coordinated units they fielded, so after a dastardly ambush of an outlying garrison, he ordered his herd to strip the uniforms from the slain men and repurposed them so that his units would retain the innate superiority of the beastmen, whilst gaining the coordination of men! (Or that was how he perceived it working in his mind...). The infamy of Khazbar has grown so much that Malagor the Dark Omen has traversed the deep paths to join and observe the herd. Could Khazbar be the one the Dark gods had foreseen? Fed up with the ineptitude of his first apprentice, Wazzock the Lame, Khazbar has taken on a new one: Slidlo the Weak, hoping that the rivalry between them would make them useful (as well as diverting any thoughts of removing him as they concentrate on eliminating each other)!

Nice stuff Knoffles. Not anywhere near finishing my beasts unfortunately - partly down to you! I did have my eye on a bunch of Mierce stuff before I saw your blog but seeing some of them in action shots probably convinced me. Especially with the charging Ghorgon and the ram rider which I really wasn't sure about before seeing them from various angles in your batreps. Perhaps Mierce owe you some commission!

10 Gor with shields, to allow me to try out the Mark of Tzeentch on them for the 5++ parry. Failing that, it's more bodies so I can try out 2 hordes of 40 Gor (they are painted to match the smaller of my Gor units). Also another 10 Ungor raiders as you can never have enough 30pt chaff units!

Lovely colour transition on the banner Knoffles and the shield metal bits stand out nicely.
I hope the Tzeentch marked Gor do great work.
