I have not tried the double sided yet. I am afraid they will move around and it is as stuck as the one-sided but I am probably wrong. As the quality is the same on these two brands it's just about picking your favorite pattern. For my town, I do prefer the lighter but for a cemetery the darker will be perfect.

I like both the mats. Looking forward to seeing some armies on there 😀

I always thought the darker was more late spring and the lighter more like summer.

I bought two new mats to compare with and one arrived today. The imprt taxes were pretty annoying but first take is its pretty easy to slide units on top of it. Will need a dice cup though! Its a US mat from Killing Fields terrain. Its pretty diffrent as it has high grass.

woah! that is different. wonder how it will hold up. probably not a good idea if you are allergic to dust mites. Looks really cool though.

That's a good looking mat, though the snow bases don't fit in so well. Re. dust mites, freezing (stuff) works for getting rid of them. Not sure how the mat would hold up to that, though.

I...actually really like that mat with the grass. How do the 20mm-based metal and plastic models hold up on it? Do they fall over? That would be my only worry. Ranked up units and larger bases like the repeater bolt throwers seem to be fine.

That looks REALLY awesome. Like shag carpeting. How thick is it when you roll it up? And does it fluff out well or do you have to go over it with something like a vacuum? Very interested in this. Never seen anything quite like it before.

Taken with a flash, blackguard and corsair metal had some difficulty standing on their own. Plastic blackguard on the right actually had an easier time standing up.
