So what is the consensus on this spell Gaze of Mork (Orc signature spell) Is it possible to use in combat? Does it hit everything under the line? Does the other player get a Look out, sir roll if it is a character?

1. Yes, it can be used in combat:
Orcs & Goblins Official Update Version 1.2, p.1: Page 72 – Gaze of Mork, second paragraph. Change the first sentence to read ‘Gaze of Mork is a direct damage spell which can be used to target units that are in combat.’
2. It does hit everything under the line, as the spell (O&G AB, p. 72) specifies "Any model whose base falls under the line, suffers a Strength 4 Hit."
3. Yes, characters and champions will benefit from the "Look out, Sir!" special rule.
BRB Official Update Version 1.9, p.10: Q: Does the ‘Look Out Sir’ special rule apply against all spells that use templates? (p93) A: Yes.
