Has anything been done about creating an 8th Edition Dogs of War book? I didn't see anything much on the dedicated DOW Forum.
(RoR = regiments of renown)

(RoR = regiments of renown) I think the fan-made Elliasson book is good enough, still quite weak in comparison with all the rest of the 8th Edition armies. The simple fix is to incorporate all the best rules from the heyday of DoW in the 5th edition while keeping the point reduction of that book.

I spotted a thread in here that mentioned an Albion Book by an Eliasson. Same guy? Does he have a blog?

I do somewhat of a mix of this combined with my own rules for pikes. Dogs of War are so cool!

The coolest and worth a fortune when you leave them to your progenies one day, unlike all the more recent armies

Pikes ...at least historically... depend on being used in a rank/file formation, e.g: "Nevermind that comment...I was thinking of... ...just never mind.

Pikes - 4 ranks can fight, 5 if in horde formation. Pikes have ASF and rerolls to hit to the front always. If pikes charge themselves offensively then only 2 ranks can fight in first round of combat. Mounts lose 1 attack on the turn they charge Pikemen. That's how we play them.
