Shipping and handling brings the European ones to over $90, nearly $100. The Cigar Box Battle ones are around $80 shipped. Also, Gamemat is the cheapest of the mousepad types. Frontline Gaming and Tablewars are around 100 shipped, same goes for pwork, deep cut studios and the others.

@gary to me shipping is part of the price. As you add more mats to an order the price difference starts to increase, and storage is an issue, unless you are TheREALricksalamone.

They are also very good quality. Fleece lasts a long time and their is no backing to worry about wearing over time. I like both, but looking at these up close I am more impressed with the details on the fleece ones.

Okay I will need to hit them up to see if I can line up another Da Boyz sponsor. With the, not in my opinion, issue mottdon brought up about sliding movement trays I would look at ones for 40k as that is a skirmish game where people tend to pick up minis as they move them. That being said, I just moved 50 metal slayers by slightly lifting the front and no bunching occurred.

Right going to have to use google-fu as fleece to me is the thing that covers a sheep so I’m pretty sure your mats aren’t woven from wool 😉

Gents, to revisit an older thread.
Has anyone used any vinyl mats? I ask as I’ve found a print I really like so I’m quite tempted by it but they only do it on vinyl. I appreciate that it is a different material to neoprene/mouse mat style so you lose the padding/noise reduction. It does work out considerably cheaper though.
If you’ve owned one, how do they last? How do you find them in general? Any major issues?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
M

It can crease if you are not careful.
