Digging the Khorne shrine a lot. Will be picking this up at some point. Pretty cool terrain, surprisingly few skulls all things considered.

I think you're setting yourself up for major disappointment if you honestly think any minorly possible Freeguild release will aesthetically match Empire models. This. The longer they keep the proper Empire in production the more plastic there will be on ebay in the years to come. so, take your time GW.
Plus even if they were releasing Empire-looking 'freeguild' they would be out of scale anyway (with some lame ass excuse why they have grown 8ft tall in the low gravity of some bubble world - looking at you Silver Tower Warrior Priest!) I don't think the Silver Tower Warrior Priest is that out of scale compared to the real life example

yep. it works as long as there is only one 8ft guy in the army. If everybody is 8ft, it's like nobody is and instead you are in a different scale.

www.warhammer-community.com/2019/03/11/breaking-news-from-gama/ - they also announced Warhammer AoS "Warcry", their Kill Team-esque skirmish game, where you lead and develop a warband through a campaign. Bad news, as it's their version of Mordheim, so I think reduces the chance of Forge World's specialist games team having a redo of Mordheim. However, it does look to be based on Chaos tribes initially. If things stay that way, there's still a chance for Mordheim, and perhaps we'll actually get WFB usable models from Warcry.

Just imagine getting a 9th edition... Even just a rulebook.
OMG, I just weeped, but not from my eyes...

Wasn't Warcry a CCG for Warhammer in earlies 2000s? Why the self proclaimed new GW has to overwrite every Warhammer thing with their silly aos?

You obviously don't understand how I imagined 9th edition *rolls eyes*
There wouldn't be Sigmarines. Get with the program.

I played a game of Mordheim last night. With 2000 era GW miniatures at that scale*, on 20mm x 20mm bases. (*the correct scale IMHO)

But more importantly, you don't understand how Games Workshop would imagine 9th edition, there would most definitely be Stormcast. It would be 100% guaranteed. So, thanks but no thanks.

I'd be okay with having Stormcast in WFB...AS LONG AS THEY BROUGHT US A 9th EDITION!!!! They could simply say Sigmar spits them out of the Vortex every now and then. Just a handful at that too. So few, almost negligible.
