By saying that, you're saying space marines are not warhammer.

By saying that, you're saying space marines are not warhammer. Indeed! Space marines belong to Warhammer 40k which is not Warhammer (the game of fantasy battles born in 1983). Anyway it's sufficient to read some of the old interviews of John Blanche for example and it'd be clear why the s.e don't fint in Warhammer.

Lol, I was joking about what "warhammer" means... i.e. The 2 game systems technically called warhammer, sharing chaos daemons... But I totally agree, in a game set where the old world didn't blow up - Sigmarines would be totally out of place, and deserve to be eradicated from actual history.

I'd agree that Stormcast as they are aren't very World That Was. I still use homegrown rules for them, but fluffwise, I have them as golem/animated statuary using the same mixed methods as was used to create the Auric Bastion during End Times. That means most of the newer versions without helmets or magic users don't get to come play, but I'm ok with that.

They went from being autonomous armour, inhabited by the spirits from the old world (sucked back to sigmar when they died)... To super humans in armour. Lol, their shite fluff got shytier

They were always superhumans in armor in AoS fluff, GW just didn't start doing unhelmeted heads until the story resolved the whole "Nagash steals a bit of their souls and thus humanity/memories everytime they're reborn" thing.

I'll post images later this morning, but there's some big reveals here: www.warhammer-community.com/2019/03/28/breaking-news-dark-power-unleashed/New Keeper of Secrets, and a cool Dwarf scenery bit are probably the highlights, as well as some more images of the Warcry models - the Chaos Fury, and the (one) Chaos Dwarf model. Also they're redoing 40k Apocalypse (as ever) with some new 40k movement trays.

Yep I’m a big fan of the keeper of secrets, it’s a fantastic model.

Initial thoughts - some of the Death-themed spells look fun, and could maybe be part of a cool conversion, but I'm struggling for an idea just now. The skeleton boat could maybe be a corpse cart with some work, and the bone bridge looks like an Arabyan Carpet stand-in (though why you'd give a VC/TK character that, I've no idea).
The Dwarf fire golem looks silly, but the forge is fantastic - if only they had an anvil to go with it, to make a massive Anvil of Doom. I think I might get it anyway.
I'm not interested in the Chaos Metal warband, but that is the first plastic Chaos Dwarf, so hopefully a sign that more will come. The Fury is cool, and I want a unit of them. The bird thing... less so.
As for the Slaaneshi stuff - the Keeper of Secrets looks great; I'm interested to see what other options it has, as if it's like the other greater demons there should be plenty. I'm not sold on the Herald riding the Daemon Prince - from the picture it looks like a 9 year old's "My First Conversion" - but could potentially be made to work as separate models. The scenic portal/mirror thing with the two Daemonettes on is cool. Spells... less so.
