Things have gone quiet...what kind of projects are people working on? If you use the Tapatalk App it's very easy to post pics to the forum.

I have been working on a lot of non fantasy stuff for myself but I have been painting goblins for a friend of mine. Now I know the first one isn't fantasy but that's my next big project after some brettonians

boda317 the Goblins are awesome. I'm still working on the same army. Not as fast as before though. The Troll sculpting work has really slowed me down but I'm getting there. I should have something completed to show you soonish.

What little time I have been able to pull away from my kids lately, I've been working on my Surprise for my recipient over on W-E. I probably shouldn't post pics until he receives the package. I'll hopefully get it in the mail to him tomorrow.
Other than that, I've been working on my DE some more, but that's in-between watching each Star Wars movie leading up to the new one in theaters on Saturday!
I did manage to finish an old Dwarf character, General Drong. He was just something I did right quick because I was getting a little tired of all the DE stuff. He was a good respite. I haven't taken pictures of him just yet, but I'll try to do that tonight. I've just forgotten about it before now.

I am painting up a horde of undead tomb king themed Ogre sized minis... Tons of extra axes and shields and gut plates and shoulder pads. Trying to perfect my basing on said unit.

I am trying to figure out what to work on. I have 40+ ironbreakers to prime and paint, some daemonettes and a daemon prince to a assemble and paint, or an ironblaster to assemble and paint for my Ogres. Help me.

Just painted my first Stormcast Liberator. Despite the round base i will be using it in 8th not AOS. In 'Chillhammer' (8th with house rules) we often use miniatures on round bases.

@boda Are those gobbos for anyone local playing warhammer? No. They are for a buddy of mine that moved to Texas about 6 years ago. Started playing 8th 6 months before aos came out

grandmasterwang: You could always glue magnets to the underside of his base and then cut a square of magnet paper to the appropriate size and move him around for purposes of alignment when using 8th edition rules. boda317: Those models are looking good! I posted a few new pics in my Dwarven Throng thread in the painting section if anyone is interested.

I might put the Liberators on a movement tray when i have 6 painted. 3 x 2 with the Champ in the middle. Moonface the Tzeentch Chaos Lord awaiting undercoat. Khorgorath needs finishing. It sat primed red for ages. I've finally started it properly

3x2 Liberators is a lot of wasted points. You will only get a single support attack in the second rank...and no rank bonus. I've had success with just 5 wide.

grandmasterwang, your Stormcast Eternal looks great. Though I HATE the round base!

I had to think about this one for a hot minute... I thought to myself, self, don't big guys get full attacks in supporting ranks? I coulda sworn I've played a squad of Ogres 6 wide x 4 deep and faced 3 attacks each from the full frontage, 3 ranks deep. Much hurt, much killy. Then I realized - Liberators are regular infantry on 40mm x 40mm bases. They ain't real Monstrous Infantry.
