Quick notes:
My positioning was horrible as I more or less placed my units before him.
The combination of storm banner on only my turn and that the battle between spirit leach vs curse of the hornrat I came down losing .
Really find it hard to beat Skaven and not sure what to do.

I would do the following: -keep your units back and let the skaven come to you. This way you have more turns to burn them to slack and your sorcerer prophet may hide in a unit and still be within reach of a warmachine.
-castle in a corner and put your warmachines (not the hellcanon) to the side of the table edge. This protects them from his scouts.
-take the lore of hashut and ash cloud his grey seer => no more dreaded 13th. You can also easily buff your whole army with hatred since they are so close together.
-use your hellcanon, rocket launcher and possibly the 6th spell of the lore of hashut to quickly eliminate his singke models (warp lightning canon, hellpit, doomwheel)
-hope that the storm banner wears off quickly.

My conclusion is a little bit the same that if I want to win then the only way is to corner castle against skaven. The magic part is a little bit a gamble as magic is fickle

Thx 😊 I like them too 😊 They killed like 40 slaves , but I guess both sides were happy with that. But they were supposed to be lined up against the monks, but I positioned them wrong, so I ended up killing endless rows of slaves...

Even loosing against them feels good.
