I have played mordheim many times, and I love the game. I was curious what you all to preferred for basing mordheim, round or square bases? Also, do your mordheim minis do double duty in your armies? Mine typically don't, and I have them on rounds to go with the skirmish feel.

Mine are on rounds because of the skirmish nature of the game and because facing really isn't an issue . I think that round bases suit skirmish games infinitely better than squares.
There are die-hards out there though who think that because Mordheim initially was a square base game that you should only use square bases for your minis. I've posted my miniatures in Mordheim forums before and the round bases are one of the topics of "conversation" that usually comes up first.

I use squares since mine pull double duty.

I'm putting mine on squares because I want to be able to use them with my 8th edition games as well.

Yeah. I'm debating rebasing for the same reason.

Square, they fit the models better and more adapt to the type of game Mordheim is. Mordheim mechanics were thought with square bases in mind, ie the combat and bases touching. They make them stand out from other minor skirmish games which almost uses all the same boring round bases.
