EDIT: DONE. Both army lists can be found after the report. We rolled battle for the pass and OnG got to choose a side, and WE got to deploy first and got first turn. So after deployment, my sisters were to the left as I thought he had left an open spot when de was heavy on the right. But then de dropped two chariots there threatening chart if I moved sisters forward. A lot of my positioning was reactive when be overloaded the right flank. I started off with treekins in the center as I know I want that anvil somewhere near the most likely beating. I forgot about trueflight, so I position my last Treeman behind the GG as it wouldn't block the shots on the spider. As his chariots came down I had to vanguard the sister back into the middle. My thought on spell was that I have a pretty open choice with three dice with two's. I want fiery convication. I think I want to to heal on treemen and it's a cheap spam for counters, it's always good with a bolt and you can't get too many hexes/augs as they are always good in cc. My extra does are the curse of a hair and shield of thorns(sisters spells). And drain magic is always good to have. (please share your thoughts)

Turn 1: WE: I moved the trees a little forward. My sister got a position for both curse of anahir and fiery convercasion. In magic phase he let through curse of anahir on savage orcs but missed on 5 dice fiery convocation. In shooting, I managed to do 3 wounds to the spider. OnG: He moved forward with no charges. In magic phase he shoot my bsb and I dispel scrolled foot of gork. In shooting he miss fired but nothing happens.

Turn 2: WE: I moved forward with my Treemen and Treekins but forgot to check angles so my Treekins ended up having its flank to the Trolls and my Treeman had its flank to the Spider. Sisters moved to a position in the middle with reach for its spells. In Magic phase I got curse of anhair dispelled and my fiery convocation dispell scrolled. In shooting, I managed to pick off a wound or two on the spider. Edit: in shooting my Treemen took down the mangler squig. OnG: He chared my Treekins flank with his Trolls/General and after I did some math hammering I opted for fleeing. He dual charged my Treeman with his Spider and Big Uns Orcs. He moved the Savage Orcs and chariots forward. In magic, I stopped his brainbuster on my BSB(as he was on one wound) but he miscast on 4 dice here we go on the trolls moving forward 7 inches. The miscast table was a big sucked in too the warp... we discussed how to play it as we had a lot of early sucked into the warp lately but my gentleman opponent insisted that we should play it and we both agreed the match was still far away from over. In shooting the doom diver aimed for the Treeman in front of the savage Orcs but missed, fortunately, the goblin managed to flap to the other Treman and managed 3 wounds on it. Oh oh, now its was dangerously low for being combo charged. In CC the orcs and spider precisely managed to put two wounds on the Treeman and the Treeman managed to wounds some Orcs in the process. The Spider overrun into my BSB GG unit that was close to the edge.

Turn 3: WE: I charged the spider with my GG unit to get so many always strikes first attacks possible so save the BSB and moved my sister in a forward position. I charged the Savage Orcs with my Treeman. I rallied my Treekins. In magic phase I had a big Fiery Convocation targetting the Orcs. In shooting, I managed to put two wounds on the Trolls. In CC my Treeman went to Town on the Poor savage Orcs but the hold on stubborn but lost frenzy. My GG units didn't manage to put any wounds on the spider and lsot the combat by big fleeing and my BSB died. My Trulefligh (green colour) GG unit fleed long and was pursued but the spider charge into the rallied Treekins. My Hagbane tips GG(beige colour) only fleed 3 inches and stayed on the table. OnG: He charged The Treekins with his Trolls that failed, He charged with his chariots my GG and failed needing 9-11s. In magic phase, he 9 dice to stop my Fiery Convocation but failed, showing A LOT of 1s. pretty unlucky with that and the Orcs got another beating from the spell. In shooting the Doom Diver hit my sister but all wounds were warded.

Turn 4: WE: I moved my sisters into another position I rallied the GG behind the Treekins but the other one fled of the table. I moved the flank GG backwards. In Magic phase, I had pretty poor rolls but Fiery convocation kept beating the Orcs. In shooting, I managed to put some more wounds on the Trolls. In CC the Treekins managed to just make 2 wounds but it was enough to kill the spider, causing panic the Orcs that fled when BSB reroll didn't help. My Treeman managed to kill enough Savage Orcs for them to not be steadfast anymore and the fled, I opted not to pursue and reformed facing the upcoming trolls. OnG: His Trolls charged my Treekins. His chariots charged my GG the fled and the charges failed. his savage orcs needing 1-1 kept running and so did his Orcs with BSB also needing 1-1. In magic, he tried again to stop fiery Convocation and failed again. In shooting the doom diver again shoot the Sisters but again all wounds was ward saved. In CC Wood Elves had a great dice turn, General killed a Treekin, but then The Treekins managing to kill two trolls back and not take many wounds back and the Trolls/general losing the combat and fled. While fleeing to put salt into injuries he rolled 1-1 and the game was over.

A thumping win, and an enjoyable read, as always. Too many people underrate Treekin, but you always seem to get them to perform. Thank you. I think I have used my fair share of good dice on them and been a bit lucky. I do try to make sure they get into combat with possible wins and with a backup charger nearby if they fail. I think Treemen combos pretty great with Treekins.
