I have to agree. The black makes a nice contrast that really shows up on the model. Maybe not teal, or gold highlights, but something dark, like a black brown or purple? I think it'd have a more profound impact and not look so monochrome.

Did both browns, and managed the gold on one model. I guess the remaining 3 will be finished tomorrow.

Last picture I have, they are actually finished as we speak. On the picture only the silver highlights are done. I’ll post more later today

They look nice! I would recommend some shades as the next step, its so fast and easy so always worth it.

Yes, that looks better Was it a flash in the other photo? It was, photo was taken kind of late and regular light didn’t really do it. I got to figure out a way to take pics without flash and enough light 😅

You need to set up some desk lamps (one on either side) to take photos. You can also (temporarily) tape a piece of white paper to over the lamp to diffuse the light slightly so that you don't get any glare. (Disclaimer: Don't leave the paper on too long. You don't want to start a fire!) It also helps if you have a white background (white posterboard works), though, this is only if you want to really get into taking good pics of your models. This is a quick method that will yield good results.

Ok so tonight I should be able to finish the bases (not much work but I’m out of paper towel for my wet pallet).
I also was able to borrow 3 boxes of Black Guard from a friend while waiting on the ones I’ve ordered, so I’m able to start assembling them! Looking forward to those models.
Meanwhile, I also should make the time to finish my newly bought Warriors of Chaos (only 3 Knights, 3 Skullcrushers and a few warriors left in order to finish those 2500 points). But I wanna do DE first so bad 😅

It's helped me in the past for better photos when I'm not just snapping WiPs.
