Hello all!
quick question as I'm working on a list, and want to confirm something:
ASF vs Lore of Light:
Birona's TimeWarp gives ASF to a unit.
If a unit with low I but with ASF goes vs a high I, ASF Elf unit - can you confirm what happens to ASF and the re-rolls?
The Speed of Light gives a ubnit WS10 and I10.
So again: if a unit with now I10 but no ASF goes vs an I5 Elf ASF unit - can yo confirm what happens to ASF and the re-rolls?
Lastly, if both were to go off on a unit, who now has ASF, I10, and they go vs an elf I5 ASF unit, can you confirm what happens to ASF and re-rolls?
Thanks!

If Birona's Timewarp goes off on a unit with low I and it is fighting an Elf unit with high I and ASF they will both fight at the same time as they both have ASF. At that point, initiative is irrelevant and no one gets rerolls.
If a unit has Speed of Light cast on it and fights a unit of Elves with I5 the Elves still attack first as they have ASF, but they will not get rerolls because the target unit has a higher I than they do.
For the final one they will both fight at the same time and no one gets rerolls. Once both units involved in combat have ASF, the initiative stat is irrelevant.

1. Birona's vs ASF: both strike at the same time; no re-rolls for either unit. 2. Speed of Life vs. ASF: the ASF Elf unit strikes first, but gets no re-rolls, if their Initiative is lower than 10. 3. Birona's + Speed of Life vs ASF: same as 1.
BRB p. 66 (updated): "Models with this special rule (or who are attacking with a weapon that grants this special rule) always strike first in close combat regardless of Initiative. In addition, if the model's Initiative is equal to or higher than his enemy's, he can re-roll misses when striking in close combat [...]. If the model with this rule is fighting an enemy with the same ability, the Attacks are made simultaneously, and neither model benefits from the re-rolls normally granted by this rule."

Thank you both! Might test the lore of light vs an Elven army and see how it fares.
