How many armies received a hard cover/eighth edition book? My searches brought me to the conclusion that there are 12:
Deamons Warriors High Elves Dark Elves Wood Elves Dwarfs Empire Ogres Orc and Goblins Tomb Kings Vampires Lizardmen
Can anyone confirm this? Bretonia, Beastmen and Skaven never got one?

Skaven and Beastmen are still running their 7th edition books and Bretonnia is stuck with their 6th army book.

Tamurkhan only contain "for all intents and purposes" the chaos dwarf "army book", right?
As it is actually The Legion of Azgorh? Or summat... A specific force within the Chaos Dwarf empire.
I guess we can only assume what a real chaos dwarf army list would have been like (much like Brets!). Actual Chaos Dwarf fighty Lords, Hobgoblin sneaky gits, access to slaves etc.

For gaming purposes, it is a Chaos Dwarf Army List, but fluff-wise, it is, indeed, only a specific force.
Tamurkhan p. 186: "Such are the diverse slaves and and diabolic war engines of the Chaos Dwarfs that the Legion of Azgorh doen't represent the full range of their power, but should provide a mighty and characterful force on the battlefield, allowing you to field a full-scale army of Chaos Dwarfs in your games of Warhammer."
The Contents page refers to "The Legion of Azgaroth (Chaos Dwarf Army)."

I wish you could still pick these up, at least in limited runs. The Wood Elves book is ludicrous on eBay
