Daniel Mc please pay or let Kevin know if you can't make it. We are now at 107 total registered for the event
9 for 8th (waiting on Dan!) 7 for 9th 17 for AoS 72 for 40K.
I'm very proud of that Fantasy showing as we are up from around 22 last year. If you have buddies who are on the edge for the non 8th systems get them to sign up. 9th is very easy to play from an 8th ed background. I'd really like to see 9th get up around ten people.

I'd like to see 9th die, so it would be a conflict of interest for me to promote it.
Gary, I do have a question about tables though. Will we be provided with 4x6 boards or just the banquet tables? The reason this is important is because the table layout Kevin is proposing is based on a number of 4x6 tables in a particular configuration. We have 6! f.a.t. mats to cover the 6 "tables" we require but I thought it was worth mentioning that the banquet tables 'as-is' will not work.
Our group has all of its own terrain and mats, the only issue is boards.

Hi everyone, FYI, the plan is to have the scenario posted by this coming saturday. Note, the a fortress will dominate the center of the board and be held by the Forces of Order at the start of the game. For purposes of Sieging and fighting on the castle we will be using the 5th edition Warhammer: Siege book. These rules work almost perfect in 8th edition. I did write an errata and amendments to the siege rules, updating them for 8th edition. You can find them in the Dark Tidings Campaign rules here: eefl.freeforums.net/thread/121/dark-tidings-campaign-rulesMost of the players involved in the game understand the siege rules. For anyone unfamiliar with them, I will briefly go over them before the game starts. Each player may take a moderate amount of basic (not war machines or monsters) siege equipment for free.

My understanding is the tables will be the double banquets from last year we used so like five foot wide by six to eight length. I will bring about 12 feet worth of boards. We aren't getting Corey's boards this year we didn't have them last year either. Warmachine will bring 4x 4s so we should be able to grab some. Hope some of you will be around on Friday as we start laying out territory. You guys just need a row right not some unusual shape?

We may have to think about this carefully because I can fit a certain number of rows into the room if you guys are an unusual shape and it doesn't fit we may have to look at the smaller room.
I think we are 56 tables before Warmachine out of 65 in the big room.

One week away... I'll be doing all my last minute banners and movement trays and flocking/basing this weekend. Hoping to get the army 100% laid out by Sunday evening, and then packed up at some point this week. 5000 requires an efficient load and unload.
Since I am bring skeletons, I'll bring a few tubes of quick fix glue. Bone snaps.

My 5000 points fits in a oversized backpack and I have room for further expansion.

Also: the average Dwarf mini is 4000% less breakable than the average skeleton. Low center of gravity, metal, no protrusions - versus - a spindly chandelier of .001mm plastic 45% beard versus 20% femur. Go Dwarf!
