Perhaps this was it! Although I do remember another one with a different gyrocopter (a black tree design model). But seeing as it'd would have been well over 10 years ago now, I might be confusing thing.

Wizards, mercenary companies, dwarfs, and figures from the 80's onwards. What's not to like? (Well, obviously, there could be loads you don't like, but I will offer it here anyway!) Tilea's Troubles, Part 81 is now out.

We're actually fighting a battle this sunday! Took ages to arrange, and I am still having to stand in for a poorly player. But it could be many, mahy more weeks delay if I we put it off further.
It is a weird one, as in one side has a very difficult objectove to acheive, possibly impossible - but they have to try. There will be several newly painted regiments on the field that have never been in battle before.

Great video!
I also can't wait for the new written chapter.
Padre, out of curiosity, did this campaign start with 8th edition rules? Or did it start earlier and saw changes once the new edition hit? Similarly, will the release of TOW affect this campaign?

It started with 8th. An earlier campaign transitioned from 7th to 8th. This won't change to TOW though, as the administration would be overwhelming, changing all the army lists and jigging all the points etc. Also, I really don't want to learn new rules. I am still trying to get 8th right!

Padre, I've seen and read your battle reports obviously. One thing that strikes out to me (and I've seen you take steps to try to rectify the situation) is undead in a siege, defending the walls. I've given this some thought and have come up with a few incentives to keep them on the wall
1) easy answer, give the skeletons bows/crossbows. Yea their ballistic skill is awful, but it would be something.
2) have a charnel pit or graveyard in the middle of the battlefield that can raise dead, with a bonus for each wall that Is manned by the undead
3) give them a catapult or bolt thrower, or something custom, like a catapult that launches zombies

That might have helped earlier in the campaign, but I am afraid the advice is too late now! Still, it's a game of 'swings and roundabouts' when it comes to advantages and disadvantges, in terms of tactics and strategies, so I try not to worry about these things. There's a kind of balance acheived, but in a campaign with differently powerful realms, it is a balance that means players might need to have good allies to tip things in their favour.

BTW, in later videos you will see some house-ruled, terrain based bonuses for the undead. At Norochia (The Valley of Death video) they had some - ghouls who could be recruited, and bats too. But that battle was over before it really started so they never really came into play.
