Hey guys, just want to make sure this was played correctly. For a steam tanks impact hits it reads something along the lines of ‘an additional d3 hits per steam point used to charge. So we read this as D6 + (Steams points used for movement)D3 impact hits. In our particular case, 2 steam points were used and it resulted in 10 impact hits. Is this the correct way to read/implement this ruling? Thanks in advance.

That is correct. The Empire AB itself gives the example (p.51): "if three Steam Points are expended in the Steam Engine, the Steam Tank inflicts D6 + 3D3 Impact Hits."
Of course, this does not apply to grinding, where you only get D3 S6 hits for each Steam Point expended in the Steam Engine.
