congrats on finishing up the knights. well done! Is the striping on the lance just steady hand and abundant skill? or did it involve judicious use of masking tape or some other trick so an average joe could achieve something as nice and clean? asking for a friend...

Lol, no, no taping required. I simply held the lance at an angle and painted it on (touching up where needed). There were still plenty of places I could go back and do a better job on, but after doing that many, I just didn't care. I did, however, on a few of them, (like the Standard Bearer) go back with a blue brush tip Micron pen and line the bottom of the blue stripe. It made a kind-of 3D effect on most of it. (Of course, it doesn't look nearly the same, blown up to this scale, as it does on the table top.) But then I got tired again, and just quit on that. I only did about 5 of them that way. Lol!

Lol, yeah, I haven't started another one, mostly due to being really busy (what with having a long weekend for US Labor Day Holiday - hence lots of family stuff), but also I just didn't really know if it's necessary anymore. There doesn't seem to be that much interest in it and practically everything seems to be double posted anyway. Do you guys still want to keep going with it?
