Fast cavalry march after rally?
Is it possible?

A Fast Cavalry unit rallies and reforms in the Compulsory Moves sub-phase; in the subsequent Remaining Moves sub-phase, it can freely move, and therefore is able to march too. BRB p. 68: "A unit of Fast Cavalry that chooses to flee as a charge reaction and subsequently rallies at the beginning of their next turn may reform as normal, but is then also free to move during the Remaining Moves part of the Movement phase. The unit is also free to shoot as normal (but always counts as having moved)."

Remember it is only if you flee as a charge reaction (feigned flight). Not rally after broken in combat and any other fleeing situation if any .

Thanks a lot. It doesn't feel right that they count as moved if they shoot but not if they would march. Also turningn and fully marcing in same turn feels bit too agile. Sadly my feelings are not relevant here:(

Sadly my feelings are not relevant here:( Not really sure what you mean here They only count as moved if they move They may still shoot even if marched. The point of fast cavalry (light cavalry - low armor) is the freedom of movement.

I mean rulebook p.68:the unit is also free to shoot as normal (but always count as having moved)..
So they count as having moved if shooting, but not if willing to march..

They always count as having moved. simple as that. doesn't matter if they move or not or do a special kind of move, marching.
Not sure I read this right, if you are arguing that a march is not a move, I will leave it to Fidelis to dig up page references.

I do not think he was doubting the rules: he was just expressing his belief that they should not be allowed to march, after having already reformed earlier.

But they are only allowed to do that if they used the feigned flight ability to fake a flee move to lure the opponent out so they did not “really” flee. It’s a controlled maneuver.
Also when you rally you turn the unit around(move it) to face the enemy again. So even if you don’t do any more movement you have still moved around with a reform. So the clarification is just stating the obvious. We have already talked the talk about defining movement in an other thread...
If you have a fast cav unit that starts as normal(no rally needed) it will obviously not count as moved unless you reform or move it and will therefor not suffer the -1 penalty for moving and shooting if standing still.
P68 does not say they count as moving if shooting. P68 says if you used feigned flight and rally it counts as a move(obviously) but you still may shoot with a -1 for moving and shooting unless any other rule like quick to fire overrides it.
