Day 211: Had a brief scare as I lost my paints/brushes in the move, but I was ultimately able to find them and start work on bases for the swordsmen. Today I brush basecoated 21 3d printed bases.

You're not wrong 🤣, but with the move and other general chaos this was the achievable option. The 3d printer is great for bases, it's a huge amount easier than covering each one. Day 212: Lined in the earth between the stones.

Painted the hair on the unit. Here's a shot of an exemplar of each hair color I chose. Which colours did you use for the blond hair on the left? I like it a lot and I always struggle with painting blonde hair myself.

My normal blond recipe is the old GW Vomit Brown highlighted with the old GW Bleached Bone. I had to improvise for these with so many paints boxed up for the move. Really cool! Thanks! Day 213: Laid down the grey basecoat on the bases.

That´s great, I did not really see the skulls before. Cool details! Thanks! I do really like this basing set. Day 216: Started in on the (admittedly crude) freehand. Many shields, scrolls, parchments, etc. on this unit.

It´s good enough? And you will become better as you keep doing it, I´m sure! Imagine my ham-fisted claws doing that.. Would look awful! It´s great!
