This is our group's Christmas Game 2022. In recent years, we were three, four or five players at Christmas Games, but this time only two of us could make it, so we wanted at least play something special. So this is a 6000 points End Times scenario (yes, this includes Khaine magic). I played the Black Host of Morhog (Orcs & Goblins and Chaos Dwarfs), my opponent played the Grand Legion of the Everchosen (Warriors of Chaos, Skaven, Beastmen).
The Black Host included Morhog himself and Ruglud Bonechewer and the Legion included Archaon and Thanquol.
I cannot give you a full battle report... instead, here are some impressions:

It was lengthy, it was exhausting, it was fun.
To be honest, it was a little bit too one-sided. Still fun though. After the first two turns, the Grand Legion of the Everchosen was in the lead. But there were still chances for my Orcs and Chaos Dwarfs to turn the game around. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. Yes, I killed two Hellpit Abominations, a Chaos Spawn, a big Skaven Slave unit, a Chimaera, a unit of three Stormfiends, some "Rat Darts", and all of the Chaos Knights who accompanied Archaon (but not Archaon himself)... but he killed about 3/4 of my army, including my general and my BSB.
Memorable moments: - A duel between a Giant and Hellpit Abomination. The Abomination killed the Giant, but was severely wounded during the combat, so that one turn later a Goblin Bolt Thrower easily killed the Abomination... - I rolled a lot of misfires with my Chaos Dwarf war machines (ironically, the Goblin Bolt Throwers did very well). - Thanquol easily killing a Hellcannon in close combat. - Archaon, after having lost all of the Chaos Knights in his units, and a unit of Orc Big 'Uns fighting to a standstill - this close combat lasted several turns! I was finally decided in Archaon's favor when a unit of Skaven entered the combat. - Minotaurs in horde formation... my god... they slaughtered my Black Orcs.
That's the result: Grand Legion of the Everchosen 4967 Black Host of Morhog 1846

Seems like a fun game, and two nice armies with some nice conversion.
Cheers, WGG

Damn, this looks (and sounds) absolutely epic - I hope you had a good time! I also hope you have more company for the 2023 game, and that you keep us updated if and when it happens. Already looking forward to it!
