Hi all, If you're a flier, can you charge 'over' a friendly, or even an enemy unit? Usually, using a 'models eye view', you can see some if the unit you want to target, so line if sight shouldn't be an issue

Did you read the rules for Fly, before you asked this?
The rulebook entry for the Fly special rule even says “…sometimes be able to draw a line of sight over intervening units to a more distant target and make a flying charge over the intervening unit.”

Usually, using a 'models eye view', you can see some if the unit you want to target, so line if sight shouldn't be an issue That is correcy, in fact: Depending on the flying model's height and/or position, it will sometimes be able to draw a line of sight over intervening units to a more distant target and make a flying charge over the intervening unit. Also keep in mind that they only charge 10+2D6 and not 20+2D6. making them not much faster than cavalry in charges. A unit that makes a flying charge does so using the glide move of 10" as its Movement characteristic.
