Sir Térrance, Marquis D'Ludlowe.
The D'Ludlowe's are an ancient family their lineage dating back to the early days fighting alnogside Landuin and the other Grail Companions under Gilles Le Breton helping unite the lands of Bretonnia.
Their roots were laid down in Mousillon and with each passing Lord served the Dukes of Mousillon generation to generation until the treachery of Duke Mereovech. When the red pox came and the Skaven seized the opportunity to invade Bretonnia the D'Ludlowe's faithfully answered their Dukes call to war, rumour and whisperings surrounding Mereovech were ignored for the deceit and conspiracy they were. However, during the great banquet held by the saviour of Bretonnia after the Skaven were defeated those rumours manifested into reality.
The treacherous murder of the King severed centuries of loyalty in an instant. With war declared upon Mousillon new vows of fealty were sworn to Lyonesse, with a united Bretonnia the former Duke was pushed back and defeated.
Ludlowe castle sits to the far south of Lyonesse in the area still referred to as Old Mousillon. It now forms part of the Cordon Sanitaire along the newer borders of Lyonesse forever on watch waiting for the horrors that dwell the otherside should they march out from the cursed area.
As well as the usual men at arms Sir Térrance holds a small retinue of household knights within the castle, some of which are third or fourth sons of Lords who will unlikely inherit or those who do not wish to rule a fief of their own. D'Ludlowe regularly shelters many Knights Errant seeking fame and glory or Questing Knight's guided by visions of the Grail, although fair few return. At least in the same corporeal state in which they went.
As Marquis, Sir Térrance holds almost as much influence as a Duke and amongst many privileges he is permitted to erect new structures, pass law and judgement within his fiefdom, and raise a call to arms should he see the need without consent from others. He has been known on occasion to use these permissions to lead small forces across the borders on personal quests, some say for the fame, some to atone for his ancestors not seeing the corruption in the old Duke Mereovech and preventing the Kings death and a small number say there is something of a more personal note at hand.

Join me in such time of need the Marquis has seen fit to call a mighty muster claiming there have been reports of heavy dark energy within "The Barony Of The Damned"!
This is a recent(ish) picture of what the overall project looks like, there are a few things not present but most is here. Pretty much everything is planned to be stripped and repainted.
May The Lady give me strength.
