Behold, the mighty peasantry of Bretonnia, resplendent in all their finery: So I finally made a start on my Bretonnian army, which at the moment doesn't contain a great deal of models. Since GW had discontinued their peasant models when I started out with this, I got the Fireforge Games "Forgotten Worlds" Northmen, which are supposed to be Game of Thrones themed. They work pretty well for Old World peasants, although they're a bit too uniform, and not quite ugly enough. I have a unit of the Forgotten Worlds Men at Arms too, which I converted to wield halberds. I haven't painted them, but will probably get a photo up soon, as I need some advice on shields. As for the rest of my Bretonnians, I have various damsels, a BSB, some Pegasus Knights, and various other Knights, some of which are lacking in horses. I started buying a few years ago, then took a break when my ebaying habit got out of control, and then with TOW announced I figured I'd wait and see what GW was going to bring back. I'm holding off on buying any more until that's released, so beyond a few more peasants, painting this army will be a slow burner. I had to make a call on a main colour for my army when I painted the banner, and I really want to have an army with burgundy as a major colour, so I went with that. I have no idea yet whether my knights will have individual heraldries or look more uniform.

Amazing! These fireforge models are a perfect fit. The uniformity doesn't strike me as something bad, the old 5th ed plastic and metal archers looked more like professional too. The burgundy on the banner is also beautiful, a knight would look pretty stunning done like this.

“My Lord, the peasants are revolting”
Those seem decent stand-ins, looking forward to seeing more
