Boy, did those two butchers drag on... But finally they are done. Can't say I love the paint job, but they turned out OK, considering how ugly and unpleasant to paint were the models. Now I have happily moved on to other things - got two extra Ironguts who will be my banner and champion - will move the old Ironguts banner to the Maneaters.    |

That's too kind, thank you. Reality is that whatever one does, there will always be people who are more skilled, more committed. I have several interests in which I am reasonably good, but excellent in none. Like the saying - jack of all trades (not quite actually!), master of none. And by the way, sadly I am also quite old. My interest in Warhammer started 35 years ago... |

Great work on these ogres mate, really like the skin and stripy pants you've been doing, also the highlights on the blue pants are awesome. Don't be modest mate, you're a good painter! I wish I could paint as well as you. |

I wish I could paint as well as you. Thanks! You are yourself a very capable painter. If I look back at the quality of my painting since I restarted five years ago, it has improved massively. It is all down to practice and study. Since I started looking at how others paint on Youtube I have picked up concepts and techniques that have made a visible difference. Lately, after disdaining the idea for years, I have purchased some Kolinski sable brushes - nothing fancy, no famous brand. I wish I had done it much earlier! |

No comments are needed for such a well done job.
But I will say that the way you do eyes and expressions really brings them to life.
