What do you guys use for these? Any recommendations for searches on picture backdrops for miniatures or key words to look for? I'm specifically looking for something frozen north, but in general what do you all use or recommend? Thanks

I presume this is for the background of a display?
Search for landscape photos of whatever type of landscape you're looking for. Should get you plenty of choices.

how about box art from GW kits? e.g. watchtower, fortified mansion etc. Upcycle those beat up old boxes in the closet!

Perhaps you can paint your own?
It doesn't have to be super good and a Bob Ross style watercolour will do wonders for pictures

This might sound odd, but have a look for medium to large sized calendars. There is a huge variety of scenery themed calendars available, and with a bit of luck you find one offering you twelve excellent options. Be aware that the prints might be too glossy for the purpose of a backdrop, so I suggest having a look in physical stores rather than online. If you want to give this a try: buy during February to May, when most calendars from the previous year go on sale for (often massive) discounts. Otherwise those big format scenery ones can get quite expensive... It doesn't have to be super good and a Bob Ross style watercolour will do wonders for pictures Bob Ross worked almost exclusively in oils though. Other than that: not a bad suggestion, especially if you want to go for a specific idea.
