Here is my list for EMP OGR 3,000 points, planned to take place soon.
I assume the Knightly Order block isn't an all too wise choice. Perhaps more range against Lead-belchers and Sabretusks, not to mention ambush?
Feedback greatly appreciated!
Lords
Battle Wizard Lord Lore of Shadows with Earthing rod on barded warhorse (AS 4+)
Grand Master with Shield (AS 1+), Mace of Helsturm, White Cloak of Ulrik, fighting alongside KF
Karl Franz with Ghal Maraz (& S.S.) on barded warhorse (AS 2+)
Heroes
Captain of the Empire, BSB with Steel Standard, Lance, Full Plate Armor and Shield, on Barded Warhorse (AS 1+)
Warrior Priest, with VH Speculum, Luckstone, Warrior Bane (emergency challenger), shield and Heavy Armor on barded warhose (AS 2+)
Core
18x Knightly Order Inner Circle full command (5-wide without Priest? Or 6-wide with Priest?)
10x Crossbowmen
10x Crossbowmen
10x Crossbowmen
Special
4x Demigryph Knights with Musician
Pistoliers with Musician
Pistoliers with Musician
Rare
Helblaster
Steam Tank

Strategy
Clear a path for Knightly Order to get into charge position by eliminating sabretusks and lead-belchers using Pistoliers, Crossbowmen and Helblaster while Steam Tanks blast away at Monsters and Cannons while charging in as Tackle Guards of sorts.
I just really miss a Great Cannon to hang back and focus on enemy arty but I really want to try an elite block of heroes this time. Wondering if I should ditch the Helblaster for that sake, since I have 3x10 Crossbowmen
Since the Battle Wiz is a core element of this strategy (INI-checks), the strategy will be to push more into the centre middle. Arrangement kind of like this:
[Edge]____[Pist]___[ST]____[CB]____[DK]____[Pist]____[KOIC]____[CB]____[ST]____/CB/ (rightmost CB angled at 30° for Ambush)
Helblaster or Cannon on hill behind
