I started TOW with Beasts of Chaos, dabbled into Chaos Dwarfs, and I've landed on Orcs and Goblins for TOW.
I've played roughly 3 games a week for 2 months straight now, so I've got about 22 games under my belt with OnG.

Key Elements:
The Black Orc Warboss is there WS 7 and a reliable challenge threat. I chose biting blade because the Wyvern lacks armor pen, and this means the Boss can reliably cut through 3+ saves. Also, the Azhag model is great.
The Goblin Shaman is there to exploit Howdah, and have 360 LOS. I find the enhanced dispel range to be super effective, along with the re-roll to a single dispel. He's really there to lurk just outside of dispel range and hit critical targets with Itchy Nuisance.
The BSB + NG Warboss is just there to bring 2 NG units with fanatics, along with the Squig Hoppers. The Warboss brings a credible threat to Infantry/Cavalry/Monstrous Inf/Cav threats with the Headsman's axe.
The core is 2 NG blocks and the Black Orcs. Basically, I want to set up a game of chicken to allow the fanatics to do their thing. The poison archers are seriously effective against things that are high toughness, having brought low a steam tank recently that kept failing it's charge rolls. The black orcs, coupled with Furious Charge, and a nuisance spell, can threaten anything in the game with 11 Strength 6 GW attacks on the charge.
I chose the bolt throwers because I find them to be very effective coupled with itchy nuisance at removing monsters.
The squig hoppers are a seriously effective unit, acting as screens but also dealing strength 5 impact hits where I want them.
Itchy nuisance is such a good spell I've considered running 2 level 4's, but that seems really insane to me.
So far, I've won most of my games. I've played against Dwarfs, Empire, Lizardmen, Tomb Kings w/ unkillable dragon, Dark elves w/ dragon, Wood elves with Dragon and 3 treelords, Renegade bretonnians, and regular bretonnians. I've lost a few games primarily to the dwarf player who is running very strong bricks that can stop charges or make disordered charges. Coupled with Hatred, it can be a difficult challenge.
