Hi all, I'm not sure if I'm just the minority here, but I'm just starting to glue together some of the figures from my tomb guard kit- the first mini is the tomb captain. First issue I had was the shield & shield-arm just don't attach to the body in the way they should according to the pictures... I had to glue it at a slant to even get it close to adhering, else the shoulder-socket & shoulder ball don't marry properly (yes I double-checked I had the correct arm & body lol) Second issue was worse if anything - the body itself & the legs are a single piece of plastic, and the feet don't align to be flat on the base. Think I'm going to have to try & glue an additional piece of plastic onto the foot to get it to grip properly- its either that or cut part of the foot off! I've always had a good experience using GW plastic kits before- they're expensive but feel good quality. Am I in the minority? Did I just get a bad box, or are others having similar issues?

Send these pics to the custumer service. Once I had refunded and kept a Alarielle model.

He's clearly ready for a tactical rock to stand on.

Try using a hairdryer to soften the plastic a bit so you can move it back in place.

Did you contact GW, and if so did they say anything? They've recently trumpeted their "Product Lifetime Guarantee", so they should do something about it.

That is odd! I've never seen such issues with plastic models from GW. Someone posted some wierd miscast bretonnian horse heads on reddit recently. Perhaps the old moulds are not entirely up to the task?

Just today I noticed the weapon on one of my Gary Morley Mummies from 1994 is mismolded. You think I can get a replacement under that Product Lifetime Guarantee?

If you have the old Gary Morley Nagash, you could try telling them the goofy head can only be a miscast, so they should replace it free of charge with the current Nagash model.
