Yes! Def post, though we'd prefer you update them for 8th, if they were written for a previous edition.

They are perfectly made for 8th, I only ever played 8th, tried AoS and it sucks. Played Warhammer armies project which is actually really cool tbh, but pure 8th edition Warhammer Fantasy Battles is where my heart lies.
Yeah I have to type it in. When I made it all, it was hand written lol. I have a lot of typing to do first. I created everything for them. I mean everything. I do need more fluff though. I only have a summary fluff.

I know yall are waiting. I'm just so busy with college and work, it takes longer to type it all out, plus I'm transferring it to excel as well.

Yeah perhaps I do have my priorities wrong lol. Um the only thing about this army is I don't have points for the special characters. It's hard and I'm not sure of the algorithm for them.

I think the best way is to point them similar to the heroes they are closest to in stats and abilities. Existing characters for the Warhammer armies form a great starting basis.

Really? Most of the time you can make your own lord or hero as good as a special character and for cheaper. I understand what you mean, it's still hard and once I finish the excel sheet I'll let you guys see it first and I'll take recommendations for points.

I understand what you mean, it's still hard and once I finish the excel sheet I'll let you guys see it first and I'll take recommendations for points. You start with an existing army book character and their points ( which is usually a stock lord or hero, occasionally special character or monster .. I should have been clearer) then buff/nerf it accordingly according to the points costs of buffs or nerfs. For example in my gaming group we have Angron the World Eaters Primarch from 40k as a playable chaos special character in 8th Fantasy who is a 650 point beat stick of doom. He used the Doombull statline and points cost as a base then got buffed through the roof. I agree that a lot of special characters are underpowered. I feel homebrew special characters and units should err on the side of average to underpowered due to their homebrewness but that's just my opinion. I'm a huge fan of homebrew stuff. You can take a look at a sample of the homebrew units my gaming group allows in the expansion section. I make homebrew units, a whole army is too great a task for me Looking forwards to seeing some of your stuff. Ultimately I play for fun so the more homebrew the better. Kevin C has for example done an excellent job of bringing the Stormcast Eternal units to 8th and like you I love the Warhammer armies project.

Is there only certain formats it takes on here? How would I go about creating the proper format? Where/ how you get the GW book format?

You have to be careful when home brewing characters, units, armies, etc. that you don't create a whole newly skewed meta. If you create something too powerful the people you play against will play against it once and then refuse to play against it in the future saying it is made up and too powerful. And as it was not part of the base rules your opponent needs to be on board with you using it.
