Sweet revenge. Did he cry? He asked me not to post it on here lol. Dude that other game that he annihilated me in. I was already destroyed and as a last stand I got my one spell off and he used his dispel scroll on me, yeah it's part of the game but it was the first good thing I did that game he could have attempted to dispel it and if not maybe I would have killed 10 models of his out of 150, of course I'm gonna give him payback

Yeah, Warhammer is all about relentlessness even at a social setting. As long as you're polite enough...

It's all about not giving up.
Even though things seem bad I've seen plenty of "losses" turn into draws and sometimes even a win.
Play a game all the way through don't give up if things are looking bad.

The other game, I literally lost on his turn 2. I didn't give up. I actually lost lol. I've had plenty of games both 40k and fantasy where I was in the lead first few turns, but lost. And vice versa. Usually that's how it is with my high elves. I start off bad or heavy losses, I always seem to win in the end or draw.

Yes, 8th edition is all about massive swings and as long as you don't put all the eggs in one basket, it will always go wildly unpredictable down to the wire.

FYI I'm not a jerk nor a competitive player or WAAC. I just wanted to try something different and more aggressive with this list. Look what he did to me here eefl.freeforums.net/thread/416/2500-woc-skaven-2His first turn in that other game his 150 point model took out my two most important models which both equaled to 700 which took out my level 4 wizard. It was over from his first turn and I admitted it to him and he even offered to just start a new one and I said no let's keep going. On his 2nd turn it was 100% clear it was over. All I had left were 3 fleeing knights and 2 squads of war hounds and I guess something else insignificant. Just wanted to point that out. I admit I felt bad when my unkillable Bsb soloed his horn rat demon and then tied up his bell unit till other things could come in to fight.

Just checked your BSB exalted hero, he has 1+AS, 3+WS rerolling all 1s Ward save, WTF? Now that's darn broken in my book 😂 Who wrote the Chaos rules again?

Robin Cruddace It's weird cause his books usually suck or are very vanilla and basic. Also if you do the same thing on a Lord, you give him the 4+ ward save magic armor and take dawn stone to re roll armor saves, but you take the chaos mutation scaly skin and you can equip a halberd no shield or keep the shield and get rid of barding so your move 8. Either of those combos on a Lord you get a 1+ re-rollable AS 3+ re-roll 1's WS. Imagine doing the shield one on a disc of tzeentch. Now you have all that bull shit on flyer. Its stupid crazy. I haven't done that yet. But I want to at least once with someone who will agree to it and also bring a crazy broken thing against me lol.

LOL I usually roll a 2 on my ward save when the first cannon rolls around so I've had vastly different experiences with the "unkillable" bsb/sorcerer. (I use that setup on a chaos sorcerer of Tzeentch on a disc; my bsb also takes to the skies on a disc of Tzeentch)
In the end though it's a single character with only 2-4 attacks; combat resolution typically sees them breaking from combat and being run down (if they're unsupported; in the end that's all they are is support characters, albeit ones that are super hard to kill) so I don't feel like them having such hard defensive stats is that big of an issue. You also trade a LOT of offensive capability for all that defense so...to each his own.

But no, a exalted hero bsb on demonic mount is great at combat. That's 6 attacks at strength 5, plus a stomp for total of 7 minimum. You are a bsb so you start at +1 cr, you most likely get a charge off. Your average killing 3-4. Its very unlikely you will take any wounds. If you do lose the combat its most likely by 1 or 2 or even if its tied and your opponent has a musician you get to re roll your ld test since you're the bsb lol. My personal experience is I win by 2 or lose by 1.

Tough mofo. Of the two books I own, only an Elf prince on Barded warhorse with Giant Blade, Dawnstone and the other Trickster's shard can have any chance to scratch this fella. Or just bring 8 cannons and spray!
