This is a nice themed mega game, lots of great pics. The bad part, however, is that this was their "farewell to 8th" game. I guess all 9 of their players lost the battle then.

Looks like a good time. I'd love to do something like that. Unfortunately there's only 2 of us here locally that play 8th (I may have recruited a third, he hasn't come out yet though but he's sent me pics of his army so he seems to like 8th).
Wish I lived in New York...

Unplugged isn't local they are in New England. There are people out there (everywhere) who want to play 8th. Play in public somehow (at a local store) when you can. Post on local club message boards. I found one of our Blood Bowl league members on twitter when I was looking at BB pics realized she was only 20-30 minutes away.
Unplugged runs a GT (kings of war now) that may have some of the best terrain in America -behind possibly Holy Wars which is really out of this world.

hey, great find, Mr. Salamone. Giant battles is my favorite warhammer niche within a niche. Always great to see what others have done and in particular what the scenario looked like. so, I am aware of these two: hoodlinghole.blogspot.com/(set the bar pretty high for game size and reporting, sadly little recent activity) thegatesofkislev.blogspot.com.es/(crazy ambitious, awesome painting/conversion and a table to behold) Is there anything else out there on this scale that I am missing?
