The fleet arrived on the coast, disembarking near the town of Brionne in the southern end of the Bretonnian kingdom. The expeditionary force was led by the Sea Helm and his partner Malaron, a mage trained in the pyromancy. The expedition’s goal was that of research and exploration, and so they marched past the city of Brionne and Quenelles in search of artifacts of magic to study. Their intent was to avoid the forest where their kin dwell at all costs. They had no business with the treefolk.
As they approached the forest, it seemed the trees had a different plan.Click the link below for the full battle report of a 1250pt match between High Elves & Wood Elves: Check out the full battle report HERE!

Cool game! Your army was doomed from the start, I think. The Wood Elves player deserved a thunderous and incinerating spank for bring two treemen into a 1250 game, which apart from a lowly mage, your army had no answer to. Bring a Star Dragon next time. Cheers.

I was expecting the HE to win, interesting. The swordmasters really underperformed. Man of the match?

I was expecting the HE to win, interesting. The swordmasters really underperformed. Man of the match? It was very close. I can tell you that round by round, we both thought someone different was going to win. I thought the Wood Elves had it until the Eternal Guard ran and the archers were destroyed. But you can never underestimate treemen. Man of the match? for High Elves I think the Sea Guard did pretty well. For the Wood Elves? The Treekin rolling double 1's to stay was clutch but they wouldn't have won without the treeman and his attacks + Thunderstomp.
