Great game. Really enjoy that vicissitudes of fortune during the game. Of course, eternal guards were going to beat Tomb guards for most of the time. And yeah, the Tomb Scorpion single-handedly saved the lines there, preventing the Dryads to overrun to the archers with the Hierophant. Thanks for reporting.

I love those back and forth games, they are fun. Lot's of failed ld tests for the woodboy, a BSB would be a sound investment.

That was awesome! Great game! I have to admit, I thought the Tomb Kings were in for it! I think that Treeman failing really crushed the Wood Elves.

I actually thought Tomb Guard with a Tomb Prince should had taken that battle and immediately thought I was in trouble. The Tomb Scorpion was a massive MVP - I couldn't believe how he stopped the Dryads & Branchwraith. Thank you for reading!

Yeah, if that Treeman had been able to continue on with the Dryads, then they would've run through everything in their path. Honestly, that was I was expecting when I started reading. The real surprise for me was how well the Eternal Guard performed. That Stubborn really comes in handy! I might have to get me a few now!

Kudos for finding a good one.
I'm still convincing mine she needs to try it out with me.
Eventually when I start playing games with myself she may start playing pity games with me.

It's not an every-week thing, but she enjoys throwing dice every now and then

Very cool battle. Great back and forth. One small thing at wood elf turn 3 the report mentions "Movement: Eternal Guard do a combat reform and march up 10’’ to protect the Dryads’ flank." With a combat reform if the leadership test is successful you can't march, only a regular move is allowed so the movement would have been limited to 5".
