I’m surprised you don’t wild riders. What is your idea for the gameplay strategy for this army?

There wasn’t one to be honest, I just stuck in things I fancied using 😉. I didn’t include Wildriders deliberately as I’ve struggled to use them effectively at present. I also wasn’t sure what to drop to fit them in (I did have a 2nd list with wild riders instead of sisters but was struggling with what to drop to fit them in exactly)

It looks fun. I say go for it. Personally, I would try running dual Treeman as they do wonders in pairs. But that would change the list way too much so don't know how to fit it.

The old ones are easier to hide, plus you can say the Ancient has shrunk with age

I do have two of the original Marauder 4th ed. Models and the original Durthu but due to their stature, they have sadly been relegated to the role of Treekin.

Durthu does make a great treekin elder though Goodluck. I'm rooting for you and your tree based force. There's a fair bit of dwarven burning stuff that you are up against but hopefully the mighty forest folk can pull it off.

I'm pretty excited as have managed to line up a 1,250pt Triumph and Treachery game on Friday against a few guys at the club (3 confirmed and trying to line up a 4th player). This is kind of, to round off the club competition (though the 4th player is not likely to have been part of the comp).
I'm toying what to bring but I thought I'd go with a melee based WE list, taking things I normally don't take.
Lords/Heroes:
Spellweaver (General) - Lvl 4 - Dispel Scroll - Lore of Beasts - 245pts Branchwraith - lvl 1 - Lore of Life - 75pts
Core:
13 Glade Guard - Standard of Discipline - Trueflight arrows - 220pts 10 Dryads - 110pts
Special:
6 Treekin - 270pts 21 Wildwood Rangers - Musician - Standard - 251pts 5 Wardancers - 75pts
I did think about life on the spellweaver but I know Beasts well and I thought is was more offensive so benefited the list a bit more.

I like it! I think it'll do well! You have your little bit of life magic from your Branchwraith, and plenty of fighting units, which are really needed in T&T games. Well done!
The only things I might try differently (if you actually wanted a variety of options), would be maybe taking an Ancient Treeman instead of the Spellcaster and Branchwraith, and maybe taking some Glade Riders with Trueflight arrows instead of the Glade Guard. That could give you a tough monster as well as speed.) That's just an option though.

I did toy with the idea of an ancient but because I wanted to run a branchwraith I thought I’d go with the Weaver for beasts instead.
I’ve also not painted either my glade riders or wildwood rangers so trying to limit the unpainted bits on the table 😀

I rather go with the level 4 weaver then a level 2(ancient) life, to big chance of unwanted spells in life if not going for a level 4 or in a unit that always benefit from regen.

Just smashed DE this weekend with orion I saw the post on FB, he’s very much on my list of things to use 😁 He is fun 620p for a T5 5++ MR2 Monster is hard to justify but never the less if he lives he smashes both his range weapons are awesome with BS8 so he pretty always hits on 2+ and wounds on 2+(depends on choice).
