I really hope you guys take plenty of pics and videos chronicling the games and overall event. Post them up here. Maybe even make it a pinned topic, so that the site can use it as advertising and a way of showing that 8th is still alive and kicking. I know that's asking a lot of someone(s), but I think it could really help. Plus, I want to see you're games!

I know that's asking a lot of someone(s), but I think it could really help. Plus, I want to see you're games! Yas! I think it super helpful to hire ("hire") someone to do this. It's really tough to take notes and take pictures and remain immersed in a game when you're kinda sorta on the clock. If we had infinite time, I would do it... but I'll be actively playing. I had my buddy come with me to Elmira one year. For the low, low price of tacos and beer he snapped photos throughout both days. It really helped. Being that it is just miles away (RIT Inn & Conf) I remain hopeful that I can "Hire" one of my non-playing buddies as unofficial Historian for both days.

Here is a quick and dirty write up that tells of the units in my army. It is a quick work with simple details. Enjoy.
The Hungered Returns
Greasus Goldtooth would have you believe that he has united the Ogre Kingdoms underneath his prodigious fist. Crushing all through his mass alone.
Greasus would have you all believe that he is the most powerful of all the Ogres.
Greasus would have you believe a lie.
Deep in the Mountains of Mourn lives the one ogre that even Greasus Goldtooth fears.
Zogerok the Hungered.
Ogres are well known for their appetites, but Zogerok’s went far beyond them all. As an infant his appetite rivaled that of Greasus Goldtooth himself, yet Zogerok’s growth was unremarkable. Greasus had read the signs and saw that the baby was to become a threat to his rule. He ordered the child to be abandoned deep in Mountains of Mourn to perish.
It was not to be. The Great Maw looked down upon the ogre babe and bestowed upon the child its greatest blessing. Zogerok was infused with the power of The Great Maw, and it warmed him in the harshest cold and shielded him from the heaviest avalanches. Creature upon creature came to Zogerok to offer themselves to satiate his ever-burgeoning appetite.
When he was grown he realized that he would need help taking down larger game. After consuming the last morsel of meat from a female sabretusk he decided to keep her three offspring and train them to hunt alongside him. The magic of The Great Maw gave him a connection with the beasts that spoke through their shared hunger and they were always at his side.
For years they hunted the mountainsides until one day they found a young bruiser near the Fallen City. The young ogre had angered a Stonehorn and was about to be pulverized by the charging beast when Swiftclaw, the quickest of the sabretusks, darted between the beast and the doomed ogre, distracting the gigantic beast long enough for Zogerok to call forth the Great Maw to swallow the beast whole.
The bruiser, Takug Treesmasher, had been banished by Greasus Goldtooth after a failed coup against the Overtyrant. He realized that his life had been all but forfeit, and something about the unassuming Zogerok drew him to take up the mantle as standard bearer for the prophet of The Maw.
The next few months saw the duo traveling the length of the mountain chain they called home. They went wherever The Great Maw opened the earth. It was outside the ruins of the Sky Castles that Zogerok found a butcher’s smock and a pair of cleavers carefully laid on a table in the farthest recess. Both blades gleamed as if newly sharpened, and when he wielded them in the next hunt he found himself to be quicker than even Swiftclaw.
In the Vale of Titans Takug found the sword and armour of a long fallen ogre tyrant. They proved helpful as they found themselves beset by giant skeletons risen by a novice necromancer in service to Manfred Von Carstein.
At the Fire Mouth Zogerok was told by The Great Maw to dip his butcher’s smock into the molten rock. Upon removal it gleamed as though lit from within. It was enough to cause Groinchompa, his most eager sabretusk, to hesitate during training drills.
Their travels also started to gather attention. Three young ogres, Brugroll, Vugerk , and Ogukag, each with loyalties to Takug, brought their fighting brotherhoods to join with Zogerok. They even managed to take with them the Ironblaster known as Big Badda Boom!!! For a tribeless butcher to attract such a following was of considerable note. Greasus Goldtooth raged at the situation, realizing that the young baby he had though perished in the cold mountains was now growing in power and influence. He sent his best battlegroup into the mountains to squash the fledgling group. His anger grew greater when only a single gnoblar returned. His fear grew far more. It was only a matter of time before the Overtyrant would be truly tested.
Meanwhile, down in the Empire, Krag Steeltooth steamed at the insulting low pay a captain of the Border Princes had offered him for his groups services. The Conquerors did not have the same name recognition as Golfag’s legendary group, and nothing made Krag angrier than when someone uttered the phrase, “It’s not like you’re Golfag and his group.”
When the young captain woke up a week later he would know not to say that again. The burly ogre motioned for his men to turn and leave the camp. They were without pay again, but at least they stuck to their beliefs. Too bad beliefs don’t fill bellies.
Krag was bringing his men north to see if Goldtooth had any need for his services when he heard about the butcher known as Zogerok. It took weeks to locate him, but when Krag saw Zogerok he realized that it was more than a mere butcher he was looking at. Before him was undoubtably a Slaughtermaster. Krag had been around other magic users, and before him was one with such power that he seemed larger than life despite being the same size as any bull in the mountains. It seemed that another butcher had even apprenticed himself to Zogerok. A young butcher named Akorog Bellyburster. Krag knew he had made the right choice. He offered his services, for a fair price, and can be seen quite often out in front of the army, ready to take care of any road blocks before the rest of Zogerok’s modest hoard found its way to the location.
It was on his twenty-fourth birthday that The Great Maw chose to let Zogerok know that the time to move on Greasus had come. The Great Maw deliverd to Zogerok the giant known as Krovmag. Krovmag had been forced by Greasus to serve as jailer to his own kind, whipping them when they fell short of a goal or caused some imagined slight to Greasus or a guest. Krovmag had enough of it, and ripping the giant chain from the ground that served to secure those being punished, he marched into the mountains and found Zogerok, who promised to end the slavery of Giants by the ogres.
The time had come for the Overtyrant’s reign to end.
Zogerok had hungered for food.
He had hungered for magic.
Now he hungered for power, and only the overthrow of the ogre who had thrown him to the elements would satisfy the hunger burning in his soul.
