I loved Albion I also loved Storm of chaos, what was your fav? If I had to chose I'd say SoC, it introduced some wikkid characters and units, and was a cool story line!

I haven't had any actual playing experience with expansions, but I've been taking an interest in and reading over a couple of them. On the surface, I think that Triumph and Treachery might be the best one. I've watched a couple of battle reports that featured it and it always looks like great fun.
That said, having never played any myself, I don't have any truly insightful comments/analysis to make.

If I had to chose I'd say SoC, it introduced some wikkid characters and units I think my beloved Hellcannons were first introduced within the SoC expansion. They were absolutely beastly back then; pure devastation (sometimes to your own side if things went awry).

Tamurkhan by a golden mile for me
Return of the Big Hats baby!!
Also the overall narrative was cool, introduced some awesome units such as Theodore Bruckner, Land ship etc on the good side so it wasn't just evil that got goodies.
Finally it's an epic tome of a book with great page style and some nice art.
Second for me would be Monstrous Arcanum for some of the reasons mentioned above plus monsters. The pure monstrous focus plus production values of the book and cool narrative puts this a fair bit, above Storm of Magic for me which also had some cool monsters and art.
So I rank the 2 Forgeworld expansions as number 1 and 2.

Tamurkhan is glorious. Once my big hats are at a painted playable state I will do a Tamurkhan series of battle reports (I don't know if this is something we could do as a group? Will have to re-read) grandmasterwang nailed it with regards to Tamurkhan. I enjoyed all the 5th edition campaign packs too if they count

I've only played Triumph and Treachery and Storm of Chaos 8th edition, but I recently bought the Storm of Chaos 6th edition and I'm LOVEING all the Middenheim units and fluff! I'm trying to devise a way to incorporate them into my current 8th army! Mostly centered around Boris Todbringer, Ar-Ulric, and the Teutogen Guard. It has definitely revised my enthusiasm for my Empire!

Storm of Magic.
The crazy winds, crazy magic items, additional allotment for monsters combined to create some pretty funny and entertaining games.
Glottkin was a very nice expansion as well, simply because it gave my Beastmen an additional edge in the form of chaos marks. It's regarded by most as having "fixed" the beastmen low-power issue. (points are still a little out of whack; monsters and minotaurs will always be overpriced but what can you do?)

Have you used him in any of your games? in all honesty he's ok... I played vs my Little brother, who's a total power gamer, he played an End times Elf list, Theo attracted so much fire he was dead by turn 4 BUT he was very good at killing until then, even elites, he has a 5+ ward and anyone that kills him in CC take d6 wounds no save. Problem is he's a large target and he's out on his own. He chewed through a unit of cold ones really easily (flank charge turn 3 after they'd charged my heavy cav, for a draw.) but found himself out in the open and at the mercy of 2 reaper bolt throwers, long bows and a shit ton of magic... he IS a can opener but is a very impressive model and DOES attract a LOT of attention. 7/10 would bang! 😎😜

Very cool. I've always loved the man himself, but his mount looks like something in-between a Demigryph and a Great Pox Rat! And at the prices Forge World charges, I've never brought myself to bite.
